Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to identify business opportunities and solve operational challenges. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, analyzing data trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement efficient systems and processes that align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Management: Elicit, analyze, and document clear business and technical requirements using artifacts like Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Process Optimization: Conduct thorough reviews of current business processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, recommending automation or re-engineering strategies.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between business units (e.g., Finance, Sales) and IT teams to ensure all parties are aligned on project objectives.
  • Data Analysis & Visualization: Use statistical methods and tools to interpret complex data, creating dashboards and reports that inform executive decision-making.
  • Testing & Validation: Lead or support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test plans and ensuring delivered solutions meet the original business requirements.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in developing business cases, including cost-benefit analyses and risk assessments for proposed initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Power Query) and SQL for data retrieval.
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
    • Familiarity with project management software likes Jira or Confluence.
  • Methodologies: Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, negotiation, and communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
