Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and cook a wide range of Indian-Chinese dishes while maintaining authentic taste and presentation.

  2. Ensure consistency in flavor, quality, and portion control across all dishes.

  3. Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness.

  4. Assist in menu development and improving existing recipes when required.

  5. Manage kitchen operations efficiently during service hours.

  6. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely service.

  7. Monitor food stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients when necessary.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Minimum 15 years of experience working as a professional chef.

  2. At least 5 years of experience in Indian-Chinese cuisine.

  3. Must hold a valid PIC (Person In Charge) Certification as per UAE food safety regulations.

  4. Prior experience working in the hotel industry is preferred.

  5. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and hygiene practices.

  6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

  7. Good teamwork and communication skills.
