Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead cooks and casual team members in the preparation and execution of Banquet Events and concessions operations.
- Control and maintain food production, ensuring adherence to recipes and dish guidelines.
- Identify training needs and suggest operational improvements.
- Assist with cleaning before, during, and after food preparation.
- Maintain food quality and presentation.
- Lead and support a multi-cultural team and casuals, enforcing specific job responsibilities.
- Ensure food preparation and storage comply with public health policies and company regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or Graduate of a culinary school
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a leadership role in a culinary atmosphere
- Previous experience in the UAE, preferably in the event industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus
Personal Qualities:
- Friendly and amicable personality.
- Excellent listening and communication skills at all levels.
- Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent personal presentation and grooming.
- Willingness to work as a team member and accept direction.
- Can do attitude without compromise of safety.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
