Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Role Summary 

We are hiring a Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition in the UAE. You will generate pipeline, lead discovery meetings, build proposals, and close commercial agreements. This role requires someone who can sell a high-trust, relationship-led service and manage multi-stakeholder decision processes. 

 

New Business Development 

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across the UAE with mid-market companies. 

  • Build a target account list and consistently generate qualified meetings through outbound outreach, referrals, partnerships, and events. 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders (HR leaders, business heads, finance, and procurement). 

Client Discovery & Solution Positioning 

  • Run structured discovery conversations to understand hiring challenges, priorities, constraints, and decision processes. 

  • Position the right engagement scope (service-led support, role-based support, or priority hiring support) aligned to client needs and budget. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to build tailored proposals and client presentations. 

Deal Ownership & Closing 

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle: qualification, meetings, proposals, negotiation, and closure. 

  • Maintain deal momentum and stakeholder alignment throughout the process. 

  • Support procurement processes and ensure commercial terms are viable. 

Pipeline Management & Reporting 

  • Maintain accurate pipeline stages, forecasting, and activity reporting using CRM tools. 

  • Track conversion metrics and continuously improve outreach and closing performance. 

Market Presence 

  • Represent the company professionally at relevant UAE networking events, industry forums, and selected exhibitions. 

  • Build referral relationships with relevant partners (consultants, operators, communities) that can generate qualified introductions. 

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years in B2B business development / sales in the UAE or GCC. 

  • Proven ability to generate pipeline independently (outbound + referrals + events) and close new logos. 

  • Experience selling services (Staffing/Recruiting/Consulting, managed services, outsourcing, HR services, RPO, or similar) - not just products. 

  • Strong executive communication and the ability to sell to HR leaders/CHROs, business heads, and procurement. 

  • Strong discipline with CRM, pipeline forecasting, and follow-up cadence. 

  • Confident in negotiation, proposal writing, and commercial structuring. 

Nice-to-Have 

  • Existing relationships in HR / leadership communities in the UAE. 

  • Arabic speaking. 

  • Experience working in fast-paced, early-stage or high-growth environments.
