Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia to join a leading government healthcare provider. This role focuses on delivering specialized anesthesia care for pediatric cardiac surgeries, including complex and high-risk congenital heart cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert anesthesia care for pediatric cardiac surgical procedures
  • Manage high-acuity congenital heart disease cases in operative and perioperative settings
  • Deliver anesthesia support in cardiac catheterization labs and hybrid procedures
  • Perform advanced monitoring and anesthesia techniques for neonatal and pediatric patients
  • Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in on-call rota and emergency cardiac cases
  • Contribute to clinical governance, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives

Desired Candidate Profile

Recognized Consultant qualification in Anesthesiology

  • Fellowship or subspecialty experience in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia
  • Proven experience in tertiary cardiac centers
  • Eligibility for DOH license
  • Strong expertise in managing neonatal and pediatric cardiac cases
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
