Roles & Responsibilities
- Craft and innovate a diverse range of continental dishes, showcasing regional flavors and techniques to create a unique dining experience.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, conducting regular kitchen inspections and training staff on best practices.
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering an environment of learning and collaboration to enhance overall kitchen efficiency.
- Curate seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends, sourcing fresh, high-quality ingredients to maintain a competitive edge.
Desired Candidate Profile
Culinary degree from a recognized institution, providing a strong foundation in cooking techniques and kitchen management.
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a high-volume continental kitchen, demonstrating advanced culinary skills and creativity.
Certifications in food safety and sanitation, proving a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in kitchen hygiene.
Proven experience in menu development and a keen understanding of flavor profiles across various continental cuisines.
