Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to lead our catering kitchen operations, manage culinary teams, ensure high food quality, and deliver outstanding catering experiences across corporate and event services. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, cost-focused, and capable of managing high-volume production with consistent quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all kitchen operations for catering production and events.
  • Develop and update menus for corporate catering, VIP events, and large-scale functions.
  • Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, taste, and portion control.
  • Plan production schedules and oversee daily kitchen workflow.
  • Manage kitchen staff (Sous Chefs, cooks, stewards) including training and performance.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
  • Control food cost, labor cost, wastage, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with the Catering Manager on event requirements, timings, and client expectations.
  • Supervise procurement, supplier selection, and product quality checks.
  • Monitor equipment condition and ensure proper kitchen maintenance.
  • Handle VIP requests, special dietary needs, and customized menus.
  • Prepare kitchen reports and support management with operational improvements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef in catering, hotels, or large-scale food production.
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisines and modern catering standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong planning, budgeting, and cost control abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver high-volume catering with strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.

Experience

  • 8+ years of culinary experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role (Executive Chef / Head Chef).
  • Experience handling large events, corporate catering, and high-volume kitchens is a plus.
