Roles & Responsibilities
Job Scope
The HR Officer is accountable for performing a wide range of human resources activities including but not limited to onboarding, exit interviews, payroll and employee database while ensuring a smooth operation at all times.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Coordinate the logistics for new hire orientations and follow through the onboarding process until the completion of the probation period
- Provide direction on HR policies and SOP s to ensure rightful implementation
- Liaise with the PRO on new visa issuance and visa renewals and update records
- Liaise with the concerned department to book the flight ticket and hotel accommodation for new joiners
- Partner with other departments such as Finance, Legal, IT and ensure shared organizational goals and objectives are achieved
- Support internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department
- Compile and maintain employees physical and electronic files
- Process payroll and assist with related documentation
- Monitor employees attendance and ensure compliance with the company policies and procedures
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and laws related to day-to-day management of employees reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Work closely with local HR/ Legal experts ensuring administrative and legal requirements are fulfilled and internal compliance is met
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Education
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, HR Management or any related field
Experience
At least 2 years of relevant experience
