Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Partnering
Partner with Operations Heads/Cluster Managers to align HR strategy with business goals.
Provide data-driven insights on attrition, hiring, productivity, and engagement.
Support expansion planning for new dark store launches.
Act as a change agent during process and structural transformations.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Drive manpower planning for dark stores based on demand forecasting.
Oversee bulk hiring of warehouse associates, pickers, riders, supervisors.
Ensure quick turnaround time (TAT) for store-level hiring.
Develop local hiring pipelines to reduce cost per hire.
3. Employee Lifecycle Management
Manage onboarding and induction for store staff.
Ensure smooth exit management and final settlements.
Monitor attendance, leave, shift rotations, and payroll coordination.
4. Performance Management
Drive KPI-based performance frameworks for store employees.
Conduct performance reviews and support low-performance interventions.
Partner with Ops leaders to create productivity improvement plans.
5. Employee Engagement & Retention
Design engagement initiatives tailored for shift-based blue-collar workforce.
Conduct regular skip-level meetings and grievance redressal.
Monitor and reduce attrition in high-turnover environments.
6. Compliance & Employee Relations
Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
Handle disciplinary cases and domestic inquiries.
Maintain industrial harmony across stores.
Conduct POSH awareness and safety trainings.
7. HR Operations & Reporting
Maintain HR dashboards (attrition, absenteeism, hiring metrics).
Analyze workforce data and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure HR audits and documentation compliance.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, MBA (HR preferred).
5–8 years of HR experience, preferably in:
Retail
Quick Commerce
Warehousing / Logistics
FMCG distribution
Experience managing large blue-collar workforce (100–1000+ employees).
