Roles & Responsibilities
Join a leading copper manufacturing and trading company in the UAE. This role demands a strategic HR leader to align people strategies with dynamic GCC market demands, workforce localization, and export growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Management
• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals, fostering a high-performance
culture.
• Manage the recruitment process, ensuring the acquisition of top talent while enhancing the employer brand.
• Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs that facilitate seamless integration and engagement of
new hires.
• Set KPIs, lead performance reviews, and build high-performing HR teams for business unit success.
2. Organizational & Talent Development
• Drive culture change, workforce planning, and talent pipelines for agile copper operations.
• Lead engagement surveys, change management, and succession planning amid industry growth.
• Implement policies ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws and company governance.
• Manage employee relations by addressing grievances and fostering a positive work environment through
effective conflict resolution.
• Conduct performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback mechanisms, to drive
continuous improvement.
• Analyze workforce data to inform strategic decisions and enhance organizational effectiveness.
3. Performance & Rewards
• Design competitive Total Rewards systems benchmarked to UAE/GCC copper sector standards.
• Oversee executive pay, incentives, and global mobility for international assignees in manufacturing.
• Guide line managers on KPIs and appraisals to foster a performance culture.
• Develop compensation and benefits strategies that attract and retain talent while ensuring internal equity.
HR Operations & Services
• Optimize HRMS, processes, and services for data accuracy across UAE facilities.
• Apply OD tools for continuous improvement in recruitment and employee support.
4. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
• Implement assessments like psychometrics to hire sales, technical, and leadership talent.
• Develop annual budgets, manpower plans, and operational frameworks supporting UAE industrial expansion.
• Execute manpower plans flexibly for non-budgeted roles in emerging business needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is essential; a Master's
degree is a distinct advantage.
▪ Expertise in UAE labor laws, HR tech (e.g., Odoo/Tally integration), and copper industry talent trends.
▪ Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or CIPD significantly enhance your candidacy and
demonstrate commitment to the field.
▪ A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on organizational development and talent
management.
▪ Proven in GCC recruitment, expat mobility, and analytics-driven decisions.
▪ Experience in a manufacturing industry is a big plus.
▪ Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of additional languages can be a valuable asset in diverse work
environments.
▪ Proficient in HRIS and other HR technologies to streamline processes and improve data management.
▪ Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships at all organizational levels.
▪ Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive informed decision-making within the HR function.
▪ Proactive and adaptable mindset to navigate the dynamic challenges of the HR landscape.
▪ Cultural sensitivity and inclusivity are essential to promote diversity and create a welcoming workplace
