Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development and performance monitoring. Primarily responsible for all the government documentations work for licensing & other legal requirements. Also responsible for employee visa, labour card.
Job Responsibilities:
1 Provide support to supervisors and staff to develop the skills and capabilities of staff.
-Ensure that accurate job descriptions are in place Provide Staff orientations.
-Provide advice and assistance when conducting staff performance evaluations as required.
-Identify and organize staff training sessions, workshops and developmental activities as required.
-Process employee requests for outside training while complying with policies & procedures.
-Provide advice & assistance in developing human resource plans as required.
2 Monitor staff performance and attendance activities.
-Monitors attendance, understands causes of staff absences and helps resolves constant attendance difficulties.
-Provide advice and recommendations for disciplinary actions as required.
3 Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff.
-Prepare, develop and implement procedures and policies on staff recruitment as required Provide advice and assistance to supervisors on staff recruitment as required.
-Prepare notices and advertisements for vacant staff positions.
-Schedule, organize and participate in applicant interviews.
-Conduct reference checks on possible candidates Inform unsuccessful applicants as required.
4 Provide information and assistance to staff, supervisors on human resource and work related issues.
-Provide advice and assistance to staff and management on pay and benefits systems as required.
-Explain employment standards and legislation such as workers compensation, labor standards and Fair Practice Act as required.
5 Perform other related duties as required.
6 Will be in direct contact with all Government Departments; and should have good working relationships with all departments at the senior as well as counter level so as to ensure all official formalities are completed on time.
7 Ensuring that all visa applications such as; Visit, Employment, Residence, Termination, work permits, & labor cards are presented and completed on time in order to comply with Government laws and regulations.
8 Ensure all License applications, official approvals and permits are followed up properly to avoid unnecessary violations.
9 Coordinate with government authorities to Adhere with the new rules. Develop relationships with Government Departments in order to ensure issues are resolved diligently.
10 Process documents such as trade License, attestation of rent contract and the like in government offices such as Chamber of Commerce, Ministry of Economic, Ministry of Finance, Customs, Court and Traffic Department.
11 Responsible for other related documents for employees and companies
12Ensuring that all visa, medical and labor permits are up-to-date and arranging for their timely renewal.
Desired Candidate Profile
1 Must be a Graduate.
2 Must have at least 2-3 year experience in HR & PRO work.
3Must have proficient knowledge on the following areas.
-Job descriptions
-Performance review methods and techniques
-Staff training, development and recognition
-Delegation
-Understanding of legislation and policies and procedures
4 Must demonstrate the following skills
-Supervisory, team building and problem solving skills
-Negotiating skills
-Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
-Effective public relations and public speaking skills
-Stress management skills
-Interviewing skills
-Time management skills
5 English / Arabic communication & typing skills.
6 Detailed Knowledge of Ministry procedures is a must. Candidate should be well versed with labor laws
7 Knowledge of Customs Clearance process
8 Good communication and interpersonal skill, Demonstrated leadership abilities; able to work independently.
