Roles & Responsibilities


Job Title: HR Officer

Location: Dubai, Business Bay
Job Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

To drive strategic HR initiatives, ensure compliance with labor laws, and support workforce planning by leveraging data-driven insights and strong interpersonal skills. The role involves talent acquisition, policy implementation, performance management, and employee engagement to foster a productive and compliant work environment.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for finance, operations, and technical roles.
  • Coordinate with department heads to define job descriptions and hiring needs.
  • Oversee onboarding processes, documentation, and induction programs.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain employee records, contracts, and visa documentation in line with UAE labor laws.
  • Ensure timely renewal of work permits, insurance, and regulatory filings.
  • Support internal and external audits with HR documentation and compliance reports.

Performance Management & Development

  • Facilitate goal-setting, appraisal cycles, and feedback sessions.
  • Track KPIs and training needs in coordination with department leads.
  • Support succession planning and career development frameworks.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Organize engagement activities, surveys, and wellness initiatives.
  • Address grievances and mediate conflict resolution professionally.
  • Promote diversity, inclusion, and ethical workplace practices.

HR Analytics & MIS

  • Develop dashboards for headcount, attrition, and training metrics.
  • Analyze trends in absenteeism, turnover, and productivity.
  • Present HR reports to management for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills

Criteria

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's/Master in HR, Business Administration, or related field

Experience

3-6 years in HR operations, preferably in manufacturing or multi-sector firms

Technical Skills

HRMS/ERP (SAP4HANA SuccessFactors or similar), Excel, PowerPoint, HR dashboards

Soft Skills

Empathy, discretion, communication, negotiation, and cultural sensitivity

Compliance Knowledge

UAE Labor Law, HR audit standards, visa & payroll regulations


Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in HR digital transformation or SAP4HANA migration
  • Preference for Cement or steel manufacturing
  • Exposure to ESG-linked HR metrics and DEI initiatives
  • Ability to draft HR policies, memos, and board-level HR presentations
