Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
They are responsible for the professional, personnel and organizational management of the kindergarten and preschool in close coordination with the school management.
They are responsible for the implementation and further development of the kindergarten concept.
They work closely with the school management, the board of the school association, the administration, the parents' council and the parents.
They are responsible for the kindergarten's budget planning and ensure adherence to the budget.
They hold talks with interested parents and offer tours of the kindergarten.
They are responsible for the kindergarten enrollment process and assist with capacity planning. In this capacity, they work closely with the school office and the accounting department.
They ensure economically viable occupancy of the kindergarten.
They create the duty rosters, regulate staff deployment, and are responsible for the kindergarten staff.
They conduct job interviews and, together with the school management, are responsible for personnel selection.
They are responsible for the implementation and compliance with legal regulations, official requirements, and health and safety measures in the kindergarten.
They ensure pedagogical quality and further develop the kindergarten.
They represent the kindergarten to the outside world and conduct public relations work in cooperation with the administration.
Desired Candidate Profile
They have completed training as a state-certified educator, studied social pedagogy, or hold a humanities degree.
They have experience in management, personnel management, customer satisfaction, and possess excellent communication and consulting skills.
You have several years of professional experience in a management role, preferably also abroad.
They possess a high degree of independence and organizational skills.
They are team players and capable of leading a large team.
They are exceptionally resilient and flexible.
They possess a high level of conflict resolution skills and applicable conflict resolution strategies.
They are cooperative and possess a confident and professional demeanor.
They have good knowledge of how to use common PC software.
They have a strong command of the German language, both spoken and written, and possess fluent English skills.
