Job Description
Finance
- Follow portion control and minimize food wastage to support cost efficiency.
- Use raw materials and ingredients carefully to avoid unnecessary expenses.
- Assist in accurate inventory tracking by informing seniors about low stock items.
- Handle kitchen tools and equipment responsibly to reduce damage and maintenance costs.
- Prepare food consistently as per recipe standards to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
- Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served on time during operations.
- Accommodate special dietary requests as guided by the Chef de Partie.
- Take pride in delivering traditional Persian dishes that reflect the restaurants authenticity.
- Follow kitchen standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food handling, storage, and preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstation in line with HACCP standards.
- Assist in daily mise en place, prepping ingredients as required by senior chefs.
- Report equipment issues or potential hazards immediately to ensure safe kitchen operations.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef and restaurant management team to plan and execute menu changes, seasonal promotions, and kitchen renovations with minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Work collaboratively with all kitchen team members, supporting a respectful and cooperative environment.
- Actively learn from senior chefs and seek feedback for continuous improvement.
- Attend briefings, trainings, and team meetings as scheduled.
- 1 2 years of experience as a Commis Chef in a fine dining or authentic cuisine restaurant, preferably Middle Eastern
- Basic knowledge of traditional Persian cooking methods, ingredients
