Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The HR Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of human resources within the school, ensuring that we attract, retain, and develop exceptional staff members who are committed to our educational mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of the school.
  • Support current and future school staff needs, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance management.
  • Oversee employee relations and ensure a positive work environment for all staff members, addressing any conflicts or issues that arise.
  • Manage and maintain an effective staff performance appraisal system to encourage professional growth and development.
  • Provide guidance to management on HR policies, performance improvements, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR legislation.
  • Organize training and development programs for staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Maintain comprehensive employee records and HR databases in an organized manner.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to create a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment legislation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in HR software and data management.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with talent acquisition, employee development, and performance management processes.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace environment.
