Roles & Responsibilities
Background & Experience
1) Industry Exposure:
- Preferably from a QS, construction, project management or consultancy background.
- If not from QS directly, at least from related fields such as architecture, engineering, or contracting—with a
network in the industry.
2) Experience Level : 5–10 years in business development, sales, or key account management in the construction consultancy sector.
3) Client Base Knowledge:
- Familiar with developers, contractors, architects,government bodies, and large infrastructure clients.
4) Project Tendering & Bidding Knowledge:
- Understanding of how QS services are priced, proposed,and negotiated.

Skills & Competencies
1) Technical Understanding:
- Ability to explain QS services (cost planning, BOQ preparation, contract administration, value engineering)
in client-friendly terms.
2)Networking & Relationship Building:
- Strong connections in the construction ecosystem.
3)Commercial Acumen:
- Ability to spot profitable opportunities and negotiate favorable terms.
4)Proposal Writing & Presentation Skills:
- Able to prepare winning proposals, presentations, and capability statements.
5)Market Research:
- Knows how to track upcoming tenders, industry news,and pipeline opportunities.
6)Communication:
- Persuasive, confident, and clear communicator with decision-makers
Key Deliverables in the Role
- Expand client base (developers, contractors, consultants).
- Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Monitor tenders and ensure timely submissions.
- Coordinate with QS team for technical inputs in proposals.
- Represent company in industry events, networking forums, and client meetings.
- Achieve revenue and client acquisition targets.

- Credibility: Clients should see them as a trustworthyprofessional, not just a salesperson.
- Persistence: Business in QS is often long-cycle—needs patience to nurture leads for months.

Compnesation
AED 8000 - 12000 as per experience.
