Senior Waiter SO/

We are seeking an experienced and professional Senior Waiter to join our upscale dining establishment in the heart of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Senior Waiter, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our discerning guests while leading and mentoring our service team.

• Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
• Lead and mentor junior wait staff, setting high standards for service excellence
• Take and process guest orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of our menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings
• Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
• Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and efficiency
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
• Assist in training new team members on service procedures and standards
• Adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced, luxury dining environment

• 3-5 years of experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants
• Previous leadership experience as a head waiter or team lead
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional and supportive demeanor
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of food service, international cuisine, and dining etiquette
• Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Extensive wine and beverage knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
• Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Food safety certification (preferred)
• Wine certification, such as Sommelier certification (preferred)
• Familiarity with luxury hospitality standards
• Flexibility to work in different locations within Dubai, as needed
