Regional Business Development Lead MEAI
Dubai, UAE | Middle East, Africa & India Region
We are seeking a high-impact Regional Business Development Lead to drive strategic growth, expand market presence, and develop long-term customer partnerships across the MEAI region.
Role Overview
The Regional Business Development Lead will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth through strategic market development, opportunity creation, and strengthening key customer and partner relationships. This role plays a critical part in identifying and executing regional growth initiatives, supporting EPC opportunities, and expanding market penetration across diverse industries.
You will collaborate cross-functionally and externally with key stakeholders, positioning the organization for sustained success in competitive and evolving markets.
Key Responsibilities
Market & Growth Strategy
Develop and execute regional business development strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives
Identify new market segments, emerging trends, and high-potential opportunities
Drive a diversified approach to expand product adoption across industries and customer segments
Opportunity Development & Execution
Identify, qualify, and convert strategic project opportunities, particularly with EPCs and key end users
Lead the development of strategic accounts and long-term customer engagement plans
Support major project pursuits by working closely with regional partners and internal teams
Customer & Partner Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including EPCs, contractors, and end users
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their challenges and aligning solutions accordingly
Expand regional partnerships to strengthen market access and competitive positioning
Regional Collaboration
Partner with sales, product management, and operations teams to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives
Drive the local-for-local strategy to support regional demand and project execution
Provide market insights and feedback to shape product and commercial strategies
Market Intelligence & Positioning
Monitor competitor activity, customer trends, and industry developments
Translate insights into actionable strategies to enhance market share and differentiation

Desired Candidate Profile
Education
Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electronics) Business, or a related discipline (MBA is a plus)
ExperienceSignificant experience in business development, sales, or commercial leadership roles
Proven success in driving growth and securing strategic opportunities in industrial or energy sectors
Strong exposure to MEAI markets, including experience working with EPCs and major end users
Demonstrated ability to build and manage senior-level customer relationships
Experience working in complex, multi-country environments
Skills & CompetenciesStrong strategic thinking and commercial acumen
Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills
Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into tangible business outcomes
Strong communication and presentation capabilities
High level of ownership, initiative, and results orientation
Ability to travel across the region as required
