Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize mise en place for the assigned section, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Maintain the highest levels of food quality, consistency, and presentation in all dishes.
  • Support the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations, including training and supervision of junior team members.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
  • Assist in menu development and recipe innovation under the direction of the culinary leadership team.
  • Monitor inventory, storage, and waste to maintain cost efficiency and sustainability.
  • Coordinate with service teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and equipment maintenance standards throughout the kitchen.

Desired Candidate Profile

Ideal Profile

  • Diploma in Culinary Arts or Professional Cookery.
  • 2 3 years of experience as Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in a luxury hotel or fine-dining restaurant.
  • Experience within pastry, bakery, or Michelin-starred dining environments preferred.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Creative approach to cuisine with a commitment to perfection and guest satisfaction.
  • Valid food safety and hygiene certification required.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a multicultural environment.
