Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, facilitating open communication and conflict resolution to foster a positive work environment.

  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

  • Support adherence to the Speak Up process, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.

  • Assist in Employee Relations investigations by attending meetings, preparing reports, and tracking actions to closure.

  • Track cases from receipt through to closure, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.

  • Analyze and report on disciplinary processes and trends, providing insights to management.

  • Support the development and delivery of the Employee Relations training program and materials.

  • Contribute to the development of the Code of Conduct and Ethics training program, including onboarding training for new employees and ongoing training for employees and managers.

  • Monitor completion of ER-related policy and compliance training and follow up as required.

  • Support broader ER training and awareness initiatives across the organization.

  • Maintain the HR policy inventory and support oversight of the Policy Framework and related project plans.

  • Support policy review, consolidation, monitoring, and timely delivery.

  • Review HR policies to ensure approved templates and governance standards are followed.

  • Ensure ER policies and processes are current and compliant with relevant labor laws.

  • Support communication and implementation of end-to-end, group-wide Employee Relations processes.

  • Participate in HR Compliance Reviews and Risk Assessments, including report writing and tracking actions to closure.

  • Contribute to strengthening compliance governance and oversight, providing timely insights to management.

  • Prepare dashboards and management reports with accurate and timely data.

  • Support the implementation and effective use of automated tools for ER case management and reporting.

  • Contribute to building and enhancing Employee Relations governance and oversight structures.

  • Analyze employee feedback and data to identify trends, providing actionable insights that drive improvements in employee relations practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related area demonstrates a proven track record.

  • Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent is preferred to validate expertise in HR practices.

  • Experience in a corporate environment, particularly in industries with complex employee relations issues, is highly desirable.
