Job Description

The HR Assistant plays a pivotal role in the Human Resources department by providing comprehensive support to HR managers and directors. This position is crucial because it ensures that all HR operations run smoothly and efficiently. An HR Assistant is tasked with a variety of administrative and strategic duties that help maintain the overall function of the HR department. Key responsibilities include assisting with recruitment processes, record maintenance, and payroll processing. The HR Assistant also serves as a bridge between employees and management, ensuring that communication is effective and that employee queries are addressed promptly. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.


Responsibilities
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads and scheduling interviews.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and databases.
  • Support the management of employee benefit programs and assist with enrollment.
  • Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and training seminars.
  • Process payroll by collecting, verifying, and entering timesheets.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports by collecting and analyzing data.
  • Conduct initial orientation for new hires to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Prepare and maintain related HR correspondence and documentation.
  • Handle communication with third parties, such as recruitment agencies and vendors.
  • Assist with employee engagement and retention activities to boost morale.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and help ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in HR or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Knowledge of HR software and systems, such as HRIS or ATS, is a plus.
