Roles & Responsibilities
Job Scope:
The Human Capital Generalist is responsible for managing a wide range of HR functions across the employee lifecycle. This includes recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, payroll coordination, and HR operations. The role ensures compliance with labor laws, supports business units with HR guidance, and contributes to a positive and engaging workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, resume screening, interviews, reference checks, and offer coordination.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and selection criteria.
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Support performance management processes including goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews.
- Provide feedback and coaching to managers and employees to promote continuous improvement.
- Coordinate employee development initiatives aligned with business needs.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, providing guidance and resolving issues in a timely and confidential manner.
- Support disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and UAE labor laws.
- Drive employee engagement activities such as surveys, recognition programs, and feedback sessions.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve employee retention and experience.
- Assist in payroll processing by preparing and verifying payroll inputs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with finance and payroll teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with wage laws.
- Manage employee benefits administration including medical insurance, leave tracking, and other entitlements.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support visa processing, renewals, and other government-related documentation for employees.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and internal HR standards and Group's HR policies.
- Participate in audits and reporting activities related to HR operations.
- Provide comprehensive HR administrative support to assigned business units.
- Support training needs analysis and coordinate learning and development programs.
- Participate in corporate HC initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of HR practices and systems.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in generalist HR roles, preferably in fast-paced, multi-industry environments.
- Strong understanding of UAE labor laws and HR compliance standards.
- Experience in recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels.
- Proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
