Roles & Responsibilities
A Human Resources Executive is responsible for supporting and advising management on proper policies and procedures to deliver an excellent staff experience while assisting with employee relations.What will I be doing?As a Human Resources Executive, you are responsible for supporting and advising management on proper policies and procedures to deliver an excellent staff experience. A Human Resources Executive will also be required to manage succession planning and employee relations. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Support and advise Managers on proper policies and proceduresManage succession planning with senior managers during the bi-annual appraisal processManage employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capabilityEnsure absence monitoring is in line with company guidelinesMaintain online personnel system, payroll system, and monthly reportingEnsure recruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensure that appropriate immigration checks are carried outAssist in determining departmental training requirementsEnsure completion of training for hotel security, fire regulations and other health and safety legislationAssist in the organisation of Team Member social eventsWork with local organisations and schools to promote the hospitality industryPromote and endorse staff benefitsAssist and resolve team member and management queriesWhat are we looking for?A Human Resources Executive serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:Previous experience in Human Resources or equivalent role within hotels for a minimum of 2 yearsKnowlege of Recruitment, policy creation and HRISStrong Knowledge of UAE LawsPositive attitudeGood communication and people skillsCommitted to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externallyExcellent grooming standardsFlexibility to respond to a range of different work situationsAbility to work under pressureAbility to work on their own or in teamsMS Office KnowledgeIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:CIPD qualified or working towards qualification, or equivalentKnowledge of hospitalityGood knowledge of employment law and employee relationsIT proficiency
