Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and flavor.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in workstations, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment to comply with health regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages or order needs to prevent disruptions in service.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes during peak service periods, fostering a supportive kitchen environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; culinary school certification is a plus to demonstrate foundational skills.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, showcasing adaptability and speed under pressure.
  • Culinary certifications such as ServSafe or equivalent food safety training to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Experience in specific cuisines relevant to the restaurant's menu, bringing specialized knowledge and creativity to the kitchen.
