Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Office Administration and Coordination

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the school office, ensuring an organised, efficient, and welcoming environment.

  • Manage office workflows, correspondence, filing systems, and documentation in line with SBS policies.

  • Coordinate calendars, appointments, and school events as required.

  • Ensure all communications, notices, and administrative outputs are accurate, timely, and professionally presented.

2. iSAMS Management

  • Generate reports, student lists, attendance summaries, and data sets for senior leaders and teachers.

  • Support staff with iSAMS functions and maintain data integrity across the system.

3. Microsoft Suite Proficiency

  • Produce high-quality documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Maintain shared drives and ensure documentation is structured and easily accessible.

4. Communication and Interpersonal Engagement

  • Serve as a key point of contact for parents, staff, visitors, and external partners.

  • Handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion and integrity.

5. Organisational Operations

  • Lead the organisation of whole-school events, meetings, and administrative processes.

  • Maintain systems for record-keeping, compliance, and operational communication.

6. PA to Principal

  • Diary management, communication, minute taking

Desired Candidate Profile

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in a school office or administrative setting (education sector essential).
  • Proficiency in iSAMS.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Use of Calendly and Canva (desirable).
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional and solution-focused.
  • Understanding of data protection, confidentiality and safeguarding
