Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Account Manager is responsible for leading strategic relationships with major Telecom Operators and ISPs across the UAE, driving revenue growth, expanding solution adoption, and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction. The role requires strong industry expertise, deep understanding of telecom business models, and the ability to position advanced ICT solutions that support operators’ commercial and technical objectives.
Strategic Account Management & Business Development
- Build and manage long-term relationships with key telecom operators and ISPs across the UAE, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
- Drive business expansion by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and targeting new operators or ISP segments.
- Develop strategic account plans focused on revenue growth, customer retention, and alignment with annual sales objectives.
Sales Planning and Forecasting
- Maintain a structured and well-qualified sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking.
- Identify upcoming network projects, modernization initiatives, budget cycles, and procurement windows within telecom accounts.
- Track market dynamics, regulatory changes, and competitor positioning to inform go-to-market strategies.
Solution Selling & Bid Management
- Promote tailored technical and commercial solutions across the company’s full telecom and ICT portfolio.
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineers, solution architects, and principals to craft compelling proposals, demos, and business cases.
- Lead end-to-end bid management, including RFP/RFQ/RFI responses for telecom operators and ISPs.
- Drive negotiation and contract closure, ensuring compliance, profitability, and successful delivery handover.
Customer Satisfaction & Retention
- Maintain regular engagement with key stakeholders [procurement, technology, network, commercial teams] to ensure satisfaction and anticipate changing needs.
- Serve as a primary escalation point and coordinate with delivery, PMO, and support teams to resolve operational or service-related issues.
Internal Collaboration and Reporting
- Work closely with PMO, finance, collections, logistics, and contract teams to ensure seamless project execution and revenue realization.
- Maintain accurate account and opportunity information within CRM platform.
- Prepare regular pipeline reports, account reviews, and business updates for senior leadership.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Telecommunications / Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum: 3+ years in account management or sales within telecom, ICT, or ISP sector.
- Preferred: 5+ years managing key operator accounts with a proven track record of revenue growth and large bids.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills at executive and technical levels.
- Deep understanding of telecom solutions, network technologies, managed services, and outsourcing models.
- Expertise in strategic account planning and enterprise sales cycles.
- Proficiency in CRM tools.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and remote delivery stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and reporting capabilities.
