Roles & Responsibilities
Be part of the pre-opening Culinary team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay as Chef de Partie Bakery. Reporting to the Sous Chef Bakery, you will play a key role in preparing a wide variety of baked goods for multiple dining venues across the resort. You will contribute to a dynamic and creative bakery operation that emphasizes quality, precision, and freshness.
- Support the Sous Chef Bakery by participating in pre-opening tasks such as kitchen organization, testing equipment, and preparing recipe documentation.
- Support the Sous Chef Bakery in the preparation of artisanal breads, viennoiseries, breakfast pastries, and other bakery items for restaurants, in-room dining, events, and the staff cafeteria.
- Maintain consistency in product quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Supervise and guide Commis and Demi Chefs assigned to the bakery section.
- Ensure compliance with Four Seasons and HACCP food safety standards.
- Collaborate with Pastry and Culinary leadership on seasonal offerings and special event preparations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bakery workstation at all times.
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or at least 2 years as a strong Demi Chef in a bakery setting at a luxury hotel, resort, or fine bakery.
- Deep knowledge of fermentation, dough development, shaping techniques, and baking temperatures.
- Good understanding of HACCP principles and food safety standards
- A passion for baked goods with an eye for detail and craftsmanship.
- Team leadership skills and a desire to train and uplift others.
- Pre-opening experience is an advantage.
- Suitable candidates must be eligible to work in Saudi Arabia. Fluency in English is essential.
