Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Youll work under the guidance of our experienced chefs, assisting in daily food prep, cooking, and maintaining high hygiene and food quality standards. If youre ready to take your skills to the next level, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up workstation with all ingredients and equipment

  • Prepare and cook ingredients (chopping, peeling, boiling, grilling, etc.)

  • Follow mise en place checklist under the section leader's supervision

  • Assist in basic food preparation, ensuring consistency and taste

  • Rotate through various kitchen sections to develop broad culinary skills

  • Execute dishes per recipes and instructions from Chef de Partie or Demi Chef

  • Minimize food waste and follow proper storage practices

  • Maintain cleanliness, labeling, and hygiene across all kitchen areas

  • Support teammates and contribute to a positive kitchen environment

  • Follow grooming and food handling standards strictly

  • Assist with inventory, deliveries, and kitchen cleaning schedules

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience in Sushi and/or Ramen preparation preferred

  • Passionate about Japanese cuisine and culinary growth
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and follow instructions
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
