Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing documentation (drawings, submittals, RFIs, MOMs, etc.)
- Maintain and organize electronic and hard copy filing systems.
- Track document versions, revisions, and distribution logs.
- Ensure all documents comply with company formatting and quality standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and site staff for timely document submission and approvals.
- Prepare transmittals and ensure proper document archiving.
- Assist engineers in preparing and compiling technical submittals, shop drawings, and material submittals.
- Coordinate between design, procurement, and site execution teams.
- Follow up with suppliers or subcontractors for documentation requirements.
- Help in tracking project progress and maintaining logs for submittals, approvals, and RFIs.
- Prepare and update project registers and reports.
- Support in scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and distributing notes.
- Provide technical expertise on transformers, cables & accessories, telecom cables, substations, and electrical products, HV, LV, SWITCHGEAR, E-House, Busway, RMU, FIBER OPTIC CABLE, insulators, steel applications .
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in document control or technical office support, preferably in construction or engineering sectors.
- Strong knowledge of document control systems (like Aconex, Maire, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent command of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and technical drawings is an advantage.
- Fluent in English.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
