Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The HR – Insurance Coordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of employee medical insurance in compliance with UAE labour law and company policies. The role involves coordinating with insurance providers, handling employee additions and deletions, resolving claims, maintaining insurance records, and ensuring seamless service delivery to employees.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Manage end-to-end employee medical insurance processes including additions, deletions, renewals, and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law and relevant health authority (e.g., DHA, DOH, MOHAP) regulations.
- Liaise with insurance brokers and providers to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and ensure timely issuance of insurance cards.
- Maintain accurate insurance data and employee records in HR systems and trackers.
- Support employees with insurance claims, reimbursement requests, and policy clarifications.
- Handle monthly insurance billing, reconciliation, and coordinate with finance for payment processing.
- Generate and share reports on insurance utilization, cost, and coverage details as required by management.
- Support HR in new hire onboarding and offboarding processes related to insurance coverage.
- Review and update insurance policies and ensure alignment with company HR policies and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate annual insurance renewals and employee communications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, with a focus on employee insurance management in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of UAE Labour Law and Health Insurance regulations (DHA / DOH / MOHAP).
- Experience in liaising with insurance providers and brokers.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and proficiency in MS Excel and HR systems.
