Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
HRBP serves as a strategic and operational partner to the business, ensuring that HR practices support organizational objectives while maintaining full compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and ISO standards. The role is responsible for overseeing HR operations, employee relations, talent management, and regulatory compliance, with a strong focus on staff licensing, ISO documentation, and audit readiness. The HRBP ensures that all HR processes, records, and systems are aligned with internal policies, external regulations, and ISO requirements.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic HR Partnership
o Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
o Act as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, organizational design, and performance management.
o Support succession planning, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
o Monitor and analyze HR metrics to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Licensing & Regulatory Compliance
o Manage and oversee the licensing of all healthcare and pharmacy staff in line with UAE
regulatory authorities (MOH, DHA, DOH, as applicable).
o Ensure timely processing, renewal, and tracking of professional licenses and certifications.
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date licensing records and ensure compliance at all times.
o Liaise with regulatory bodies for approvals, inspections, and audits.
o Ensure compliance with UAE labor law, healthcare regulations, and internal company policies.
ISO Compliance & Documentation Management o Ensure HR processes and documentation are aligned with ISO standards and organizational quality management systems. o Develop, implement, and maintain ISO-compliant HR policies, SOPs, forms, and records. o Maintain ISO-ready documentation, including employee files, training records, performance records, and compliance logs. o Support internal and external ISO audits, ensuring all HR-related documents are accurate, updated, and readily accessible. o Identify gaps in HR processes and documentation and implement corrective and preventive actions. o Promote a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards across the organization
Payroll Processing & Attendance Management
o Oversee and manage monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
o Verify employee attendance, leave records, overtime, and adjustments before payroll finalization.
o Coordinate with Finance/Accounts to ensure accurate salary disbursement and reconciliation.
o Maintain attendance systems and ensure proper daily monitoring and reporting.
o Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries related to salary and attendance
Employee Relations & Organizational Support o Act as the main point of contact for employees and management HR queries. o Handle employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and resolve workplace conflicts professionally. o Foster a positive and compliant workplace culture. o Ensure confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding o Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring candidates meet both job and licensing requirements. o Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires. o Work closely with the CEO and Management team to fulfill staffing needs efficiently
HR Operations & Administration o Maintain HRMS and ensure accurate employee records and personnel files. o Prepare and manage HR documentation, including contracts, compensation records, and official correspondence. o Support payroll by providing accurate data on attendance, leave, and employee movements. o Ensure all HR records are compliant, audit-ready, and properly maintained.
Learning & Development o Identify training needs related to compliance, ISO standards, licensing, and job development. o Organize training programs, workshops, and professional development initiatives. o Maintain training records in line with ISO requirements.
HR Projects & Continuous Improvement o Lead HR initiatives to improve systems, processes, and employee engagement. o Drive continuous improvement aligned with ISO standards and operational efficiency goals. o Participate in HR transformation and digitalization initiatives.
Communication & Business Collaboration
o Ensure smooth communication between HR and all departments.
o Work closely with operational managers to understand workforce needs and provide HR solutions.
o Support alignment between HR strategy and business operations across Medical Trade and Pharmacy divisions.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferable.
Minimum 5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience in UAE Pharmaceutical & medical trade field; HRBP experience is an advantage
