Roles & Responsibilities
- Master the art of crafting authentic Indian curries, from creamy butter chicken to fiery vindaloos, ensuring consistent flavor profiles.
- Expertly prepare a variety of tandoori dishes, including perfectly marinated meats and vegetables, cooked to smoky perfection in a tandoor oven.
- Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of Indian spices and their nuanced applications, creating balanced and flavorful dishes.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, hygiene standards, and efficient workflow during service.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, with a specialization in Indian cuisine.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a professional Indian restaurant kitchen, demonstrating a deep understanding of the cuisine.
- Proven ability to expertly prepare a wide range of Indian curries and tandoori dishes.
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Indian spices, their flavors, and their proper use in various dishes.
