Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Plan, manage, and control project scope, schedule, and resources. Ensure compliance with contract conditions, specifications, and standards. Coordinate design reviews, shop drawings, and technical submissions. Oversee construction of pipelines, chambers, reservoirs, and related works. Manage project budget, cost control, variations, and cash flow. Ensure implementation of QA/QC procedures, testing, and inspections. Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements on site. Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, and utility stakeholders. Manage procurement, delivery, and approval of materials and equipment. Lead testing, commissioning, documentation, and final project handover.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (Master’s degree preferred). Minimum 20 years of overall professional experience in construction projects. Proven experience as Project Manager on at least two (2) similar water projects, such as water transmission pipelines, distribution networks, reservoirs, or pumping stations. Strong knowledge of water infrastructure construction, including pipelines, valve chambers, concrete structures, and associated civil works. Demonstrated experience working under FIDIC or similar contract conditions. Excellent capability in project planning, scheduling, and resource management. Strong background in cost control, variation management, and claims administration. Sound knowledge of QA/QC procedures, testing, commissioning, and handover requirements for water projects. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Effective communication and coordination skills with clients, consultants, and local authorities.
