Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook authentic South Indian dishes, including dosa, idli, and sambar, ensuring traditional techniques are followed.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations and protocols.
  • Select high-quality ingredients and spices to enhance the flavors of each dish, ensuring freshness and authenticity.
  • Create and update seasonal menus featuring regional specialties, allowing for creativity while respecting traditional recipes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification specializing in South Indian cuisine, showcasing formal training.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in South Indian restaurants or kitchens, demonstrating hands-on expertise.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Tamil or Telugu is preferred to ensure effective communication with team and customers.
  • Strong understanding of regional spices, herbs, and cooking techniques, with a passion for preserving culinary traditions.
