Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth
  • Lead sales operations and manage key accounts and expand market share across UAE, GCC and Africa
  • Implement new customer acquisition strategies and increase the products of each customer portfolio
  • Lead negotiations, pricing strategies, and contract management
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to the sales team

Key KPIs:

  • Revenue growth and profitability targets
  • Expansion of client base and retention rate
  • Market share increase in UAE/GCC/Africa chemical distribution
  • Accuracy of sales forecasting and pipeline management
  • Team performance and achievement of sales targets

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum experience of 15 years in international trading in chemicals, ingredients, specialities and other industrial raw materials for food & beverage, personal care and pharmaceuticals, water treatment, and metal treatment applications
  • Solid background in chemical specialties and extensive experience in exports of specialty raw materials to Middle East and Africa
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven track record in sales and business development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of UAE/GCC/Africa chemical markets and regulatory environment
  • Fluency in English required
  • Currently available in the UAE and can join within 1 month
