Job Summary

We are looking to hire a Senior SAP S/4HANA Basis and SAP BTP Admin Consultant. This position will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the entire SAP landscape, ensuring the success of the transition from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA and the ongoing operation of SAP systems.

The consultant will provide expert support and administration for SAP S/4HANA, SAP Basis, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ensuring stability, scalability, and performance across the SAP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP S/4HANA Basis Administration

• Lead technical administration of SAP S/4HANA ensuring stability, performance, and security.
• Perform installations, upgrades, patches, and support package implementations.
• Manage system landscapes (ECC, S/4HANA, BTP) ensuring seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and manage configurations.
• Provide 24/7 system monitoring, incident management, and technical support.
• Handle client/user management including roles and authorizations.
• Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) readiness.

2. SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Administration

• Administer SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP AI/ML, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Manage provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle of BTP services.
• Integrate SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA and third-party apps.
• Utilize Kubernetes/Docker for BTP-based applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot BTP performance issues.

3. SAP System Integration & Cloud Management

• Lead integration of SAP S/4HANA with BTP and other cloud platforms.
• Implement/maintain cloud-based solutions like SAP Fiori and S/4HANA extensions.
• Configure and manage hybrid cloud environments for SAP workloads.
• Oversee cloud storage, data management, and security.

4. Security & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with internal security policies and data protection standards.
• Manage roles, authorizations, and secure communication between systems.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scanning.

5. Performance Monitoring & Optimization

• Monitor SAP landscapes to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Perform system tuning, load balancing, and optimization.
• Use SAP Solution Manager for system health monitoring.

6. Upgrade, Migration & Patching

• Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and patches.
• Conduct system sizing, prerequisites, and migration strategy.
• Coordinate with teams for seamless execution of projects.

7. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide hands-on support for critical issues across SAP S/4HANA, Basis, and BTP.
• Liaise with SAP support for escalated cases.
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions.

8. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

• Partner with SAP functional, development, and IT operations teams.
• Support custom developments and extensions.
• Participate in solution design and architecture discussions.

9. Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Ensure records for audits, compliance, and troubleshooting.

10. Training & Knowledge Transfer

• Train and mentor junior Basis team members.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer for smooth daily operations.

Required Experience, Qualification & Certifications

Professional Experience

• 8–10 years hands-on experience in SAP Basis with SAP S/4HANA administration.
• Strong expertise in SAP BTP provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and integration.
• Proven track record in large-scale SAP migrations and upgrades.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• SAP certifications in Basis/S/4HANA preferred.

Technical Expertise

• SAP S/4HANA architecture, performance tuning, and upgrades.
• SAP BTP services: HANA Cloud, Integration Suite, SAC, etc.
• Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices.
• SAP Solution Manager, NetWeaver, Fiori, and Gateway.

Cloud & Hybrid Environments

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP for SAP workloads.
• Hybrid cloud integration strategies with SAP BTP.

Security & Compliance

• Expertise in SAP security best practices, RBAC, and data encryption.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance for SAP in cloud environments.

Preferred Experience

• Aviation or travel industry exposure.
• Familiarity with SAP LMDB (Landscape Management).
• Experience with S/4HANA cloud deployments and Fiori apps.
