Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of HVAC systems tailored for oil and gas facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct detailed load calculations and system analyses to optimize energy efficiency and performance in harsh operational environments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate HVAC solutions into larger project frameworks, ensuring seamless communication and workflow.
- Develop and review technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and operation manuals, to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Lead project meetings and communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to stakeholders and management.
- Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies and industry trends, advocating for innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or safety.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the team.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HVAC design and estimation, with a focus on the oil and gas industry.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP).
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, API).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear interaction with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
