Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades, paying close attention to detail for a flawless finish.
- Apply base coats, clear coats, and specialty finishes using spray guns, ensuring uniformity and high-quality results.
- Inspect painted surfaces for imperfections and correct any flaws through polishing or additional coats.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive painting preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive painting or related field, showcasing skill and expertise.
- Certification from automotive painting programs, demonstrating commitment to quality and professionalism.
- Experience in collision repair shops, indicating familiarity with industry standards and practices.
