ELV Technician Voxiber Networks LLC

The ELV Technician is responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and company quality guidelines. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on field experience, and the ability to work independently or as part of a project team. Key Responsibilities • Install, terminate, test, and commission ELV systems including: • Structured cabling (CAT6, CAT6A, Fiber Optic) • CCTV surveillance systems • Access control systems • IP telephony and networking equipment • Public Address (PA) and background music systems • Audio-Visual (AV) systems • SMATV / IPTV systems • Intercom and video door phone systems • Fire alarm interface coordination (ELV scope only) • Perform cable pulling, dressing, labeling, and termination as per standards. • Conduct testing using appropriate tools (Fluke, OTDR, power meters, etc.). • Troubleshoot faults and carry out corrective maintenance. • Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and schematics. • Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on site. • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and site safety policies. • Prepare daily work reports and update as-built documentation. • Support inspection processes and handover documentation. • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials responsibly. Skills & Competencies • Strong knowledge of ELV systems and components. • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently. • Good understanding of structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA). • Familiarity with UAE regulations and site practices is an advantage. • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. • Good communication and teamwork skills. Qualifications & Experience • Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in Electrical, Electronics, or ELV systems. • Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on ELV installation experience. • Experience in UAE projects is preferred. • Basic knowledge of networking (IP addressing, switches, PoE). • Valid UAE driving license is an advantage. Physical Requirements • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and on construction sites. • Physically fit to perform manual installation work.
