Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Engine repair is carried out in the workshop over a period of approximately 4 months. It includes the activities of preparation before induction, disassembly, inspection, repair, supply, reassembly, testing, invoicing, and feedback.
The Engine Owner LEAP MRO* is the project manager for this repair called Shop Visit.
*MRO : Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul.
As part of the LEAP Engine Owner team, you will be responsible for managing the entire engine repair service across all departments.
You will be able to gain the support of multi-m, multi-site teams working on the engine.
We will also entrust you with the task of anticipating Shop Visit scenarios and associated risks, in order to consolidate and validate proposed solutions to meet customer satisfaction objectives, as well as industrial TAT and cost objectives.
The Engine Owner manages the customer relationship in the execution of the Shop Visit, organizes customer visits and reviews in the maintenance workshop.
You will be the interface between clients and the manufacturer: you will be in charge of ensuring the proper sharing of information to and from the workshops.
Finally, you will represent the manufacturer within the client teams and with the MRO programs.
The Engine Owner LEAP MRO Project Manager:
- Has a complete view of the flow of engines under his/her responsibility and takes all decisions/actions necessary to meet industrial commitments and those to customers.
- Coordinates support functions during Shop Visits, conducts in-depth studies on multiple and complex subjects, arbitrates or proposes arbitrations on Shop Visits to the steering committee during the daily morning production meeting, manages the associated action plans.
- Ensures progress reporting for the engines under his/her responsibility, both internally and externally.
- Anticipates and identifies risks and opportunities by taking into account feedback from experience, manages the associated abatement plans.
- Provides feedback to the teams in charge of contracts, shares his experience with the shops in the network.
- Ensures that customer complaints and disputes are handled within the required timeframes.
- By relying on the support teams, is responsible for the operational performance and profitability of the Shop Visit; as such, the Engine Owner is an integral part of the MRO ramp up.
- Is responsible for the induction process and industrial objectives during the preparation of Shop Visits.
- Ensures the technical and economic management of the Shop Visit, monitors the quality and deadlines of preliminary and final invoicing in accordance with the contract.
- Represents the customer in the shop, and represents the manufacturer to the customer and within the customer team.

Your ability to unite teams and mobilize them around a common goal in an industrial context with strong quality/cost/time constraints is recognized by all.
You possess a strong capacity for synthesis and analysis and a great sense of anticipation.
You are an excellent communicator both internally and externally, your sense of customer service is beyond question, and your interpersonal skills are recognized by all.
Your ability to know or understand the engine as well as the rules and specificities of aeronautical maintenance will be particularly appreciated. You have a strong taste for fieldwork and operational tasks.
A good foundation in economics and finance would be an advantage.
Proficiency in English is a prerequisite.
