Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze project blueprints, specifications, and technical documents to understand fabrication requirements thoroughly.
- Prepare detailed fabrication estimates, including material costs, labor hours, and equipment expenses, using specialized software.
- Develop and maintain fabrication schedules, ensuring timely project completion and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project scopes and address any design discrepancies.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrates proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in fabrication estimation within the manufacturing or construction industry.
- Exhibits strong knowledge of various fabrication processes, including welding, machining, and sheet metal fabrication.
