Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop accurate and detailed MEP cost estimates by analyzing project specifications, drawings, and scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather requirements and clarify technical specifications for MEP systems.
- Prepare and maintain a comprehensive database of labor rates, material costs, and equipment pricing to enhance estimation accuracy.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and understand project conditions that might affect MEP systems and costs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a related field is essential.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MEP estimation within the construction industry, highlighting relevant project types.
Professional certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or similar are highly regarded.
Experience with MEP estimation software like AutoCAD, Planswift,etc.
