Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee all station operations and maintenance to ensure alignment with business goals, including the planning, scheduling, and execution of daily, weekly, and monthly activities for the CNG station and its auxiliary systems.

Lead and manage compression station teams by organizing workloads, ensuring goal achievement, and developing strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Apply expert electrical engineering knowledge to manage and maintain critical power systems, including MV/LV switchgear, distribution boards, transformers, backup generators, and their associated protection schemes.

Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues utilizing expertise in large motor control systems (VFDs, soft starters) and the ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC logic for efficient troubleshooting.

Execute on-site technical services and complex troubleshooting by traveling to GCC project sites to perform maintenance, inspections, testing, and repairs across electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and software systems to diagnose faults and minimize operational downtime.

Manage maintenance strategy and resource oversight by developing and executing corrective and preventive action plans, while also taking full responsibility for repairs, spare parts inventory, consumables, and warranty claims.

Monitor the daily performance of the CNG Compression system, ensuring readiness for field emergencies on a physical or on-call basis.

Respond to 24/7 emergency callouts and ensure all O&M activities are performed accurately. Record and report faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, along with time and material expenditures on work orders.

Manage the movement and availability of tools, devices, consumables, and spare parts related to CNG Mother Stations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in electrical engineering.

Expert knowledge of electrical distribution systems, protection relay coordination, and fault analysis.

Strong knowledge of CNG compression systems, gas processing equipment, and related technologies.

Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Willingness to travel across UAE and GCC countries for site visits.

Availability for 24/7 on-call support for emergencies.

Physical fitness to work in industrial and field environments.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in operation and maintenance roles within the CNG, oil & gas, or energy sectors.

Hands-on experience with CNG compression systems, auxiliary equipment, and industrial control systems.

Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and software components.

Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and technical specifications.

Basic knowledge of PLCs and SCADA systems is a plus.

Competence in MS Office tools, maintenance reporting, and ERP systems.
