Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to create tailored intervention plans.
  • Develop, implement, and modify treatment programs that enhance clients' ability to perform daily activities independently.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients, integrating insights from various health professionals.
  • Educate clients and their families about treatment goals and strategies to promote understanding and engagement in the therapy process.
  • Utilize adaptive equipment and technology to optimize clients' functional capabilities and improve their quality of life.
  • Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide training and support in workplace ergonomics and injury prevention strategies to promote long-term health.
  • Engage in community outreach activities to raise awareness about occupational therapy and its benefits.
  • Stay updated on the latest research and developments in occupational therapy practices to enhance service delivery.
  • Advocate for clients' needs within healthcare systems and work to eliminate barriers to their rehabilitation.

  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms.
