Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

· Oversee daily freight forwarding operations (import/export – air, sea, and land).

· Plan, coordinate, and monitor logistics and supply chain activities.

· Ensure smooth execution of all shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and delivery.

· Maintain compliance with UAE customs regulations and international trade laws.

· Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers, vendors, and subcontractors.

· Lead, train, and manage the operations team to ensure service excellence.

· Monitor KPIs and prepare performance reports for senior management.

· Resolve operational issues, delays, or client concerns efficiently.

· Optimize logistics processes for cost reduction and improved efficiency.

· Develop strong relationships with key clients and service providers.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

· Mandatory: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics operations in the UAE.

· In-depth knowledge of freight procedures (air, sea, and land) including incoterms and customs regulations.

· Experience using freight forwarding software (Cargo Wise, SAP, etc.).

· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).

· UAE Driving License preferred.

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
