Job Summary The Quantity Surveyor will manage the commercial and contractual aspects of metal fabrication projects from execution to final handover. The role ensures effective cost control, accurate billing, and proper management of variations and final accounts. Key Roles & Responsibilities • Prepare and submit interim payment applications and final bills. • Measure and certify quantities of work executed at site. • Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders and additional works. • Monitor project budgets, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts. • Verify subcontractor invoices and supplier payments. • Coordinate with site engineers to track progress and cost impact. • Maintain accurate records of contracts, variations, and claims. • Assist in preparation of final accounts and project close-out documentation. • Support management in commercial negotiations with clients and consultants. • Ensure compliance with contract terms, payment conditions, and documentation standards.
