Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to increase book adoption within schools, focusing on specific curriculum needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers like principals, curriculum heads, and teachers to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct compelling presentations and demonstrations of educational books, highlighting features and benefits to educators, emphasizing their impact on student learning.
  • Manage and track sales performance against targets, analyzing sales data to identify trends and adjust strategies for optimal results.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Education, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the educational publishing industry, demonstrating a proven track record.
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate the value of educational materials effectively.
  • Strong understanding of the K-12 educational market, including curriculum standards, teaching methodologies, and the needs of educators.
