Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Strategy and Development Associate to join our team. In this role, you will support the development and execution of key business strategies by conducting research, analysing market trends, and assisting in identifying and developing new growth opportunities. You will work closely with senior team members to help drive decision-making and contribute to the company’s long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to support the development of strategic initiatives. Analyse industry trends, competitors, and customer behaviour to provide actionable insights.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather, analyse, and interpret data to assist in making informed strategic recommendations. Create clear and concise reports and presentations for senior management.
• Business Development Support: Assist in identifying potential business opportunities, partnerships, and new markets. Support the business development team in preparing proposals and pitches.
• Strategic Planning Assistance: Work alongside the Strategy and Development team to help evaluate and prioritize strategic initiatives. Contribute to the development of short-term and long-term plans that align with organizational goals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments such as marketing, sales, and finance to collect data, validate assumptions, and ensure strategies are aligned with broader business objectives.
• Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and analyse competitor activities and industry developments, presenting findings to the team to inform strategic decision-making.
• Performance Tracking: Assist in tracking the progress of key strategic initiatives and help develop metrics to measure success.
• Process Improvement: Provide insights and recommendations to improve business processes and support operational efficiency. Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field. (Advanced certifications or relevant coursework in strategy, business analysis, or market research are a plus.)
• Experience: ◦ 7+ years of experience in a business analysis, strategy, or development role. ◦ Exposure to market research, competitive analysis, or business development. ◦ Familiarity with strategic frameworks and analytical tools.
• Skills: ◦ Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and derive meaningful insights. ◦ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools. ◦ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. ◦ Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. ◦ Attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
