Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
One of our clients, a fast-growing, globally minded organization known for delivering high-profile, immersive events, is hiring a Technical Director to lead end-to-end planning and technical execution across major productions in Dubai. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of audio, video, lighting, rigging, and venue infrastructure, and includes managing and scaling a technical team of 10+ professionals. Key Responsibilities
Lead all technical planning across AV systems, venue layout, power, rigging, and signal flow.
Select and oversee the use of speakers, LED walls, projectors, media servers, control gear, and cabling.
Manage on-site technical setup and live execution to the highest production standards. Direct and grow a technical team, structure, lead, and recruit as needed.
Collaborate with creative and production leads to translate vision into technical reality.
Own technical vendor relationships and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Desired Candidate Profile
10+ years in technical direction or AV leadership for large-scale productions.
Deep experience in audio, video, lighting, rigging, power systems, and venue planning.
Proven track record of managing teams and delivering complex live events.
Backgrounds in theatre, film/TV, festivals, immersive installations, or theme parks highly preferred.
Strong leadership, calm under pressure, technically fluent, and solution-oriented.
