Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
An exciting opportunity is available for a highly skilled and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen of an elegant Mediterranean fine dining restaurant in Dubai, part of a respected and well-established hospitality group.
We are specifically seeking chefs with a strong background in authentic Mediterranean cuisine and independent Mediterranean fine dining concepts.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef within Mediterranean fine dining restaurants in the UAE
- Strong expertise in Mediterranean cuisine, flavours, techniques, and presentation
- Experience within independent Mediterranean concepts is highly preferred
- Please note: candidates with primarily Italian cuisine backgrounds will not be considered for this role
- Strong leadership and kitchen management skills in high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Experience with menu engineering, seasonal menu development, and cost control
- Ability to train, mentor, and inspire multicultural kitchen teams
- Excellent understanding of HACCP, food safety, and UAE hospitality standards
- Strong communication skills in English plus an additional European, Balkan, CIS, or Afrikaans language
- Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- Must currently be based in the UAE and available for face-to-face interviews and a kitchen trial
